Are you traveling to visit us about weight loss surgery? We have some links and local information to help you plan your stay.
Part of what makes us the obvious choice for addressing your weight and health issues is the truly comprehensive nature of the program. While there are programs that might provide bariatric surgery, and numerous "programs" that promise easy weight loss – We provide a full spectrum of evidence-based medical treatment for weight loss.
If you enter the Medical (non-surgical) program you will still have a full spectrum of weight and health management options. We have a full time certified bariatrician (Internal Medicine physician who specializes in obesity medicine), certified bariatric nurses, dietitian, and exercise physiologist. This multi-disciplinary team can assist you with an individualized weight loss and management program. Our goal is to give you the assistance you need to be successful – long term – with your weight management goals.
If you are just in need of a dietary consult to discuss calories, nutrients, portion control, food choices and grocery shopping – then perhaps all you need is a visit with our registered dietitian.
Perhaps you need more medical monitoring because of existing health related issues. In that case, you might be seen on a recurring basis by our physician and dietitian.
Ongoing behavior modification can be addressed through our 12 week behavior modification program. It provides nutrition education and addresses behaviors that can lead to weight gain. It is designed to change the way you think about dieting.
For those who need the most intense non-surgical intervention to achieve weight loss we offer a meal replacement program, which is typically a 9 or 18 week medically supervised program.
We can individualize your weight loss program to meet your needs. If your schedule does not allow you to make our scheduled classes, you can ask about the unique one-on-one programs.
Our weight management program for teens is designed to address the unique medical, nutritional and behavioral needs of obese and severely obese adolescents. The goal of the program is to help the adolescent reach and maintain a healthy weight while building healthy habits.
This program is designed for children age 13-17 (and their families). Insurance does not offer payment for these services but the program is offered with a package price.
This medically supervised behavior modification program features materials developed especially for teens, incorporates use of partial meal replacement, and provides exercise/activity guidance and nutrition education for the entire family.
